The first floor might look simple at first glance, but trust me, walk up to each area and get ready to get your hands dirty making energy! For example, the solar energy activity involves reflecting light onto a solar panel to power a model airplane overhead – it’s so satisfying when it works! Then there's the wind energy challenge where you blow air into different types of wind turbines to see which one produces the most energy. And of course, playing with water pumps to see how water’s potential energy transforms into electrical energy is a real highlight.

Fantastic Free Docent Programs & How to Book
This is where the Seoul Energy Dream Center truly shines for groups and schools! I’ve personally taken two groups of students to their free docent programs, and I can honestly say they are fantastic. There are a number of options to choose from, but our favorite has always been the Exciting Eco Tour. This particular tour is brilliant because it takes you not only through the Seoul Energy Dream Center but also to the Mapo Resource Recovery Facility. And for some reason – I still can’t quite figure it out – the students absolutely LOVE seeing how the trash is moved and compacted! It’s a truly unique experience.
